who'd seen both sides of the problem.
Muhammad Asad spent a decade inside Fortune 500 companies like Walmart, Microsoft, HackerRank, and Macy's, watching how great software gets built when there are real standards, real accountability, and engineers who take genuine ownership of their work. He also watched, from the outside, what happened when founders and businesses handed projects to agencies. Inflated timelines. Junior engineers presented as seniors. Black-box delivery. Missed launches, and clients who had no idea things were going wrong until it was too late.
